How I design it
Written by a Mother-Teacher
Every book is written by myself, a mother who's also a teacher, who has talked with parents, shared their concerns, taught their children, and mothered my own. I understand what mothers struggle with and what helps the mother and the child. The story stays the same for every theme. But the illustrations are personalized just for your child.
Each personalized book has realistic illustrations
Each illustration is created realistically. It's not a patchwork of pre-made hairstyles, glasses, or skin tones stitched together for easy book production. That distinction matters: a child needs to visualize themselves vividly already succeeding at the behavior and habit.
A story that depicts the child as main character, not as a hero
While your child is the main character of the story, they're never shown as a hero saving the world. The book is designed to build a real, believable identity — not a fantasy one. For example, seeing themselves successfully using the potty gives them the belief that they already can. It stays grounded in achievable belief, not an excessive one.
It is designed with the parent and child in mind
Correcting a child in a moment of intense emotion is often draining — for both of parent and kid. I strongly believe in Connection Before Correction and Dialogue Before Discipline. This parenting kit is built to facilitate parent-child bonding during calm moments, when children are far more receptive to a parent's guidance, and the parent isn't overwhelmed by the frustration of the moment.
Designed according to principles of behavioral sciece
The idea for this whole parenting kit actually came from reading The Handbook of Behavior Change — specifically its research on mental imagery for weight loss and sports. From there, I drew further from Albert Bandura's social learning theory and James Clear's book on how environment shapes habit.
Beautiful Keepsake and a Journal of Growth
This isn't a book you read once and put away. Filled in with your child's photos, handprints, and your own thoughts, it becomes a record of who they were at this exact age. Years from now, you and your grown child can open it together and reminisce about the journey of growth. The personalized book makes a meaningful gift — a parenting tool for the mother, and a beautiful keepsake for the child.
